MPLOY provides City of Memphis youth ages 14 to 22 with meaningful and rewarding summer experiences through various career path options according to the participants’ strengths and interests, including soft skills training, entry-level positions, and internships. MPLOY exceeded the goal of providing job opportunities to 1750 youth for summer 2019. For summer 2019, MPLOY provided job opportunities to more than 1900 youth.  This increase in numbers was made possible, in part, from MPLOY's partnership with Williams-Sonoma, who hired participants and paid them directly.
